Bridges or Fixed Partial Dentures (FPD)

A bridge is a special dental prosthetic that replaces 1 or more missing teeth.  A bridge can be attached to two teeth or to two dental implants and is placed permanently in the mouth so that it does not come in and out.  Dental bridges look and feel very natural and are a wonderful way to replace missing teeth. Dr. Hall can discuss your tooth replacement options with you to see if you are a candidate for dental bridges.

If a bridge is needed in the smile, our office takes special care to get the best possible esthetic results.  A provisional (temporary) bridge will be fabricated so that you can evaluate the appearance and your speech before a final bridge is made for you.  Our dental laboratory (Nucraft Dental Arts) will create a custom bridge for you based on Dr. Hall’s provisional restoration and the specific characteristics and features of your teeth.  On some occasions, a custom shade appointment will be scheduled with the dental artisan who will be fabricating the custom bridge.
